The ads she appeared in were for Burger King, Clean & Clear and International House of Pancakes early in her career. She made her first appearance on the screen in the role of Ventu Girl on UPN's Star Trek Voyager Episode Natural Law. The first time she appeared on screen was in the role of Ventu Girl from UPN's Star Trek Voyager episode Natural Law. Then she went on to be a guest in CSI Crime Scene Investigation Birds of Prey as well as Cold Case, before securing regular roles in the sitcoms Grounded for Life Maybe This Is Me, and Complete Savages. Her role as Taylor Townsend on the Fox series The O.C. (2005-2007) catapulted her into the spotlight. Reeser appeared in three episodes of the ABC sci-fi show The Whispers, as Amanda Weil. The actress played Tess Darius Tanz's former friend in the CBS show Salvation in the year 2017. She starred as the talent agent Leslie Bellcamp on the E! network's The Arrangement for two seasons.
