Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only daughter of Richard McCormick. Her family consisted of a mother who was household worker and father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her brothers older than her. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for youngsters in the area. Following her win in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was just 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get into the entertainment industry. McCormick's first big job was in 1964, when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The commercial was re-run in 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the main character in The Wind It Up and It Breaks, a play at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked from among 1500 children who had auditioned to be the youngest of three daughters towheaded on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show ran for five seasons. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice which was published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to her onscreen co-star and brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice, that during season five of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to Barry Williams. It was likely that we would have a romantic romance, she said. But the timing wasn't right.
